I bought 7 day unlimited and Blue Man Group tickets 5 days ago. I woke this morning to find an odd charge on my debit card for $525.72 for Aegean Airways airline ticket(s). I then noticed that both purchase took place at the exact same minute.

Either Universal has a breech in their website or an employee run amok. I'm going to make some calls to my bank and Universal and post results. Just be careful in the meantime.

Thanks!

Ouch I hope you get it taken care of! Off to check my Credit Cards and Bank Accounts.

Thanks for the heads up - I bought the same combo tickets from the US website. I'll be sure to check my cc bill thoroughly when it arrives.

Hope you get this problem sorted out soon.

There's a possibility that you computer or network has been hacked. Please do contact Universal Studios at 407-224-4233 and choose option 9. I certainly haven't heard of any security breach on their end.

Please understand, I don't mean this as an acusation. Things like this are bound to happen. Just a reminder for everyone to be vigilant.

I called Universal ASAP. My ticket order was confirmed. (in case it was a redirect bug) They were very nice, professional and helpful but all I really did was to notify them in case they find more problems. Perfectly understandable.

My bank is taking off the charges today as I knew they would.

If the charges hadn't occured at the exact same moment, I'd say it could be anything but in this case, I'm guessing it was Universal related one way or another. I am a retail manager and am pretty farmiliar with CC/Debit systems and processing.

I purchased the tickts on a home PC and while it's possible that I was hacked, I don't see it. I run firewall, Norton and Cyber Defender.

Just keep your eye open. Most pirates like this tend to move in and out quickly so by now, the threat is most likely over.

Thanks!

Thanks, Shasta, for the heads up. I'm glad you let Universal know also so they could look into it.

I had something similar happen last year. Right after I paid my deposit online for my trip, I got charged like $20 from some blind store.....and I've never bought blinds ever. Glad you got everything worked out.
