Scalp Sunscreen

Does anyone have any suggestions for sunscreen to be used on your scalp? I used to use a banana boat that was blue and awesome. Now it is discountioued. Any suggestion would be helpful.

We use any children's 50 spf or 70 spf. nice and gentle

Walgreens has some scalp sunscreen. Not sure of the brand, as I still have some Banana Boat left from last year. I'll try to look within the next few days and let you know. Sundition makes some that you can buy online. Baby Blanket SPF 45 makes a scalp sunscreen - drugstore.com.

I've got some great news for you!! The Scalp sunscreen by banana boat is no longer discontinued!! I just bought some at Walmart. It is now in an orange looking spray pump bottle (not blue like the last one) and it states that it is skin and scalp spray! I have 2 little boys who hate to wear hates and my hubby is thinning out quite a bit on top, so we use this stuff a lot!! I hope you can find it!

Thanks everyone!! I will have to go to wal mart to see if i can find it. I'm not a hat person and I have thin hair. Not fun when people come up to you to let you know your scalp is fried. THANKS AGAIN EVERYONE!!!

I tend to use a hat. can't stand sunscreen on my head. I do cover exposed skin. Which seems to me more and more of my head these days.

I use a product called Baby blanket sunscreen specially designed for scalps. I use it on my toe head boys, and around the edges of my hairline, it doesn't leave a build up which I love! Good luck!

We used a Neutrogena stick for babies called Pure and Free (I think) It is in a white stick, and is spf 60. Looks like a small deodorant stick. I ran the edge of the stick along our the parts in our hair. It did not leave our heads greasy or sticky, and worked quite well. Also worked well on my dd's faces.

YEP! I bought some for myself. I am a blonde with thin hair. I am always looking for something that is not greasy to put on my scalp. The banana boat brand works!
