SCAL Question

So I just got SCAL the other day and I'm able to find TONS of fonts, but now I'm wanting to find images. Where do you guys get your images from??

There are images everywhere! You can also use Dingbats. There are yahoo groups and blogs galore! I found this site last night. It looks very helpful. I haven't watched any of the tutorials yet though.

This is a favorite blog I check daily click me. She has CDS and SCAL files.

You can take SVGs into SCAL. I've used coloring book pages made into SVGs and made them into cutting files. There are some tutorials, here. It's hard to explain, but the tutorials help a lot.

Ok....So I finally got all my stuff hooked up and am able to cut. My question now is when I am cutting something with SCAL it cuts a box out before it cuts my shapes and then cuts my shapes in the box (did that make sense??). Is that normal or am I doing something wrong???

I really only know how to do one thing though. I have only cut out like one or two things that haven't been a paper piecing pattern imported from Inkscape. Haven't cut any dingbats, and only a couple titles.

I've never seen a box cut out first.
