Sc-Fi and large party?

We'll be a party of 8 this Christmas when we eat at the Sci-Fi. Any chance we can still sit at a car table? Or will we be sitting at a regular table? I'm reading some reviews and we'll be sad if we can't sit in a car and pretend we're at the drive-in. Anyone with a large party get to sit in the cool tables?

You can always ask to be seated in cars. We were a party of six and they sat us in cars. We were spread out not together. 2 of us here, 2 there, and the other 2 way over yonder. Made bill paying interesting since there were different servers.

I think the max that fits in a car is 6. Not positive though. There are some side facing cars also... I think they were smaller though.

The table car facing sideways isnt as much fun to be honest. I would definitely ask them to sit you into two cars....4 ppl per car. In one car there is 2 in front, 2 in back. That really isnt a big deal at all. Definitely more fun than sitting at the table sideways! As long as you ask this when you checkin, they will accomodate you. have fun! I love Sci Fi!!!!!!!!!! The forward facing cars have 3 bench seats that hold 2 adults each. We have dined here with large groups more than once. We have always been seated in cars. They have tried to put us close to one another but it's not always possible. The last time, they did put my 4 year old grandson in the same bench seat with his parents so it is also possible to squeeze 3 into a row if the 3 people are small enough.

Whether or not it's true, a CM at Sci Fi told us that if you have an ADR, you will be seated in a car unless you request a table instead.

If what you are looking for is your entire party to sit in one car, if you have eight adults that won't happen, the cars appear to be able to seat six adults. If some of the party are small children (very small children), you might be able to squeeze a kid into a bench with two adults. You'd have to have two small kids for this to work. Otherwise they will split you up into different cars (4 and 4 or 6 and 2)

We have 3 adults and 2 kids ds4 and ds1. Hopefully we will be able to sit in a car. My son will love it
