SBP & Disney Photography

Has anyone done this? Ceremony at SBP, then take pictures at the beach over by the Beach Club Resort.

I thought this would be a fun spot for some pics, but my planner is saying we would need to purchase another hour of photography to do that. They haven't gotten back with a price yet, but the whole idea seems a bit much to me. It's a 5 min walk, if that.

Wondering if I should just let it go and ask the photographer myself the day of. If they say yes, great. If not, it won't be the end of the world as I'm sure we'll get nice pics at SBP/BW. (we're having an Escape wedding using Disney photographer)

We had pics on the beach after our wedding and they are some of my favorite pictures of me and DH from the whole day. I had Randy Chapman for phorography, so I can't answer your questions about Disney Photography. In my opinion it is worth it, even if you have to pay for an extra hour.

We had an Intimate (now Escape) wedding using Disney Photography.

The package includes 2 hours of photography. Typically they start doing some photos about 30 minutes before your ceremony, then the ceremony and cake and champagne reception. After wards, there will be some other pictures with your family/friends and around SBP.

In our case, we probably could have done that (we didn't have any guests and didn't do a first dance) but I'm thinking it would have been a tight schedule.

You most likely won't be able to ask the photographer the day of, because your coordinator (or their represetative) will be there during the entire ceremony activities.

You can ask if you can skip some "pre-wedding" photos in the BW and that might allow you more time afterwards.
