Just saw these in Michael's yesterday (however, I haven't been in Michael's since we got an A.C. Moore so I don't know how long they've had them).....

I love it. Each section is a different cube. I've been designing mine in my head all day and could kick myself for not using my 50 off coupon on one yesterday. Does anybody have these? Plan on getting them? Something homemade that's cheaper but serves the same purpose?

I've never seen these in my Michaels, but would love to have them. How much are they? The little desk area is not nearly big enough, but the the rest of the cubes look pretty cool.

I bought 2 cubes a few months ago at my LSS. They were pretty expensive, but would be great to get with a 50 off coupon at Michael's. I have one with one shelf and the other with the paper divider. I like both of them, but the paper divider doesn't hold much paper. I have done the Target crate thing for my paper now and it holds lots more! Although it is much easier to see in this.
Here is a link to photos of my scraproom, you can see the Target shelves in the first photo, bottom right and these modules in the third photo on the left.

I don't have them, but I've been looking at some things - DH is rearranging our living room which is long & narrow into a seating area at one end & scrap/office area at the other end. He asked me to look at some closet organizers at Home Deport that would have been $600 for 2....maybe each was 3.5' - 4' wide & 10' tall. Those were way too much for me! Did you happen to notice how much they were?

BTW - You did keep the rest of your ad, right? On the back half of that outside sheet with the 50% coupon for Sunday was another one good for Friday & Saturday! There was also a 40% coupon that was good Mon - Thur, but with two 50% coupons who needs them! LOL

a few months ago, on sale (not clearance) at Target I bought a cube kind of thing. It's 3 across and 3 tall. It was $40. White - solid fake wood - not wire. Pretty convenient.

I used to want them but the price is a little too steep for me. We did order some at the LSS I work at and my DFi assembles all the diplays, so we put 3 together and they are not very good quality. Holes were drilled in them unevely and didn't line up right. sliders for the drawer were actually on backwards and he had to got to lowes and buy new screws for them and remount the. After he fought with the 3 that we put together he swore we would never buy any. Although the ones we had may have been a fluke, CIS was really good about sending replacements although it took a while to get them. We havn't put these together yet.

At Michael's, the most expensive ones were the 2-drawer and 3 drawer cubes. I'm pretty sure they were $70. The "hollow" cube that you would put the inserts or shelf in was $25. I think the inserts were $20. The drawer that you put the hanging files in was $60 and the actual hanging files were $10. Can you tell that I REALLY studied these????? All these are regular prices so with the coupons it wouldn't be too bad. My sister got the hanging file set and she loves it. Said it was exactly what she wanted. I did save my other 50% coupon but I wanted to talk myself out of using it....it doesn't look like that is going to happen though!!!

OH MY GOSH, Stepmom3!!!! Can I get a drooling smilie, please???? I guess this one will have to work ---> :worship:

Your space is amazing! I like your "CREATE" - I saw that in one of the CK magazines and loved it.

I was pretty sure I'd seen these in the Oriental Trading Company catalog, but when I checked their site yesterday I only saw some of the pieces. So last night I dug out my catalog.

They have a bulk deal for 2 sets of 2 drawer cubes, 2 door cubes, 4 cubes with 4 shelves distributed between them & 4 cubes with the 5 inserts used for paper. They call that 22 pieces & it was $479. Individual pieces are:
Cube - $27.95
Shelf $8.95
Door - $12.95
Five Inserts $24.95
2-Drawer Cube - $49.95 (cube is included)
Their shipping is 10% of your order if you order more than $200, but there's no tax.

It sounds to me like Mikes with a coupon would be the way to go!

OMGoodness Stepmom3, your room is amazing !!!!
I had my husband build me a space in our double closet in the guest room and thought that would do but looking at your room makes me think I just don't think my closet space is going to cut it....
GREAT JOB,
I'm going to head down to Michaels and see if they have the 12 x 12 paper holders, not sure how different they are here in Canada from you lucky guys in the States :sunny:
