Ok, maybe some of you have thought of this but it just hit me today.
I was in our local Hobby Lobby, sort of like a Michaels from what I hear - we don't have the latter around. And was in the section where the woodworking/stencilling supplies are getting materials for a troop project. Otherwise I never have a reason to go into this section. I couldn't believe all of the stencil options they had!
I found several that had some really unique/unusual shapes, etc. that are going to be perfect for some embellishments on my pages - a lighthouse for one! These templates are not as thick and heavy as the scrapping ones but since I do my paper piecings and so forth by lightly pencilling onto the cardstock or paper rather than an exacto, etc. they'll work great! Especially at just a couple of bucks or less! One that I picked up fo 88 cents! has birdhouses, flowers, etc in smaller sizes - perfect for a couple of spring layouts~
