Have you made any shaker boxes?

I made one using the double sided foam tape and the punches inside seem to clump together and get stuck in one spot. I also made one by using a thicker layer of card stock between the layers and I think I like that much better. The punches inside can move but can't cross over each other and get stuck together in a clump. I am also not limited to a square or rectangle. I have since made a Mickey head with Mickey punches in the face part, a heart shaped one and a flower.

Chessie-
I've made a few and was surprised at how easy they were to make. I had the same problem with the punchies clumping up and not moving around. I was at a crop last weekend and someone said if you use two layers of foam tape that gives you a little more room for movement. I'm going to try that one next time.

I always rub a dryer sheet on my clear cover before I adhere it to the shaker box, this keeps static cling from happening, and allows more movement inside the box. Also, if you will use some beads, or something similar even if they are clear, they shake and bang around enough to keep the punchies from sticking too much. (Just use really tiny ones). :D

Someone also recommended using the foam sheets that you can get in the craft stores (many of which are safe for scrapbooks) and running that through a xyron to make it sticky and then using that in place of foam tape. Haven't tried that yet, but it sounds good.

I have also added small beads to my boxes with the punchies and they seemed to help prevent the sticking problem.
