I want to bring a pint and shoot for my really busy days. I have a 3 & 1/2 year old and can not handle the big DSLR every day. I want to bring my D300, 50mm 1.8, 85mm 1.4 and tamron 28-75 and my flash. It all fits in my 6 milliondollar home bag. Anyone know if this will fit in a safe in the Polynesian rooms?

Not sure, but it is unlikely that all that will fit. If you are going to have a stroller, give your back a break and place your pack in the bottom of it. If you were planning on renting and would not have that option, consider buying a $50-75 stroller at Walmart on the way in. Just give it away as you leave. It is typically cheaper than renting anyway.

I don't think you can fit a safe into the camera. Also I think your pictures will get more and more out of focus as you progress with that pint.:duck::rotfl:

My car keys, wallet, ipod, and phone barely fit in those narrow safes! I end up stacking so many things into the safe that when I open it, everything falls out. I travel with one of these:

I usually travel with a laptop, camera gear, etc. I stuff it all into the backpack and lock to something into the room.

something like that would work better if wrapped around a metal case. Given the time a dedicated thief could get at the valubles with a knife by cutting the fabric.

They make them in different sizes. I figure a dedicated thief with time will get what they want regardless of security. They come prepared.

My family travels with laptops, ipods, camera gear, Nintendo DS, phones, etc. Hotel safes are never big enough. This is easy to pack and hopefully prevent a tempted hotel staff or someone in a hurry from making a quick grab.

The other choices are hiding things in your room or taking it with you. I have had friends who had their car broken into in the Epcot parking lot.
