Hey everyone,

Not to long ago a woman from Say Yes to The Dress posted on here about contacting her for a special. Has anyone contacted her? I did and haven't heard anything in a while, she says she has a lot of couples she is looking through so she is very busy. Just wondering if anyone got anywhere more with her. I spoke to her about our story and e-mailed her a pic of us which she asked for but that's it. Anyone else?

TLC's "Say Yes to the Dress" is kicking off its third season with a one-hour special featuring unique and heartwarming wedding stories, and we need your help. We'd like to hear your story and help you make your wedding exactly what you want. Is your wedding date in the next one to three months? Is your budget limiting what you'd really like to do, and you need help? Are you dealing with a challenging situation or a crisis that is affecting your plans? Doesn't look like anyone here did anything about it, but I'd imagine that there would be a lot of people out there who probably did. You could always try calling again, but it's possible that she's been completely overwhelmed by people interested, and hasn't got the time to respond to everyone.

Do they have a website you could check? There might be some sort of disclaimer along the lines of "Please don't expect a response" or something

well it is a long story but basically my DBF and i are "engaged" but not really because he hasn't officially proposed to me yet because he can't afford a ring yet and doesn't want to do it until he has a ring. Is that confusing? lol basically we have been together for almost five years now and have already basically planned our wedding. We are just strapped for cash..that is where this special comes in because they are looking for people like us who are having financial difficulties and hard times lately and we are all of the above. So technically we are not "officially" engaged. I really hope that makes sense.
