Say what???? More than 3 FP+

But with pre-booking 30 to 60 days out, what fast passes would even be left day of (and after you use your original 3)?

Not sure how it would work. :)

We have the same ticker picture! We're staying at Beach Club too, but in October. :)

This will be great for our family we are early entry folks and get our FPs for straight away and if this is the case we will be able to get even more for the afternoon. I like this idea.

Interesting....But I would prefer to be able to grab a new one after you use the first one. By the time you use 3, I would bet the selection would be pretty picked over. :rolleyes2

once all off-site guests can pre-select, that seems ok to me.

until then, however, I think it would be a detriment to other paying guests.

So far, not a single person has reported back that they could do this, and many people have reported back that after they used up their FPs, they tried to get more but could not. So until we see an "I did it!" post (from someone with a post count greater than "0"), this adds up to little more than "A bus driver told me."

Absolutely, I'm just assuming that will happen very soon. I really don't see pre-select being a perk for on-site guests only.

I did it. And my additional pass was in a different park from the original three.

Note that the additional passes have to be reserved *at a kiosk*, not via an online app.

When we first heard about FP+ waaaaay back when with the 3/day limit, this is what DH and I assumed they'd likely do at some point. Some reserved ahead, some more while onsite. I think many of us posited this here as something they'd do to preserve more spontaneity. I hope they test it, at least.

Don't know, obviously, if this will materialize, but I'd certainly be happier with this... especially if rolled out in conjunction with eliminating the 1 park/day limitation... :)

But I don't want to use a kiosk!! (Insert fit here)

But seriously... I don't want to use them. :(

Guess we'll see where they end up with all of this... wonder what it'll all look like by Oct...?

Still doesn't help with park hopping... As I'm sure you'd have to use the kiosk in the park you are at! Would be better if you could some how do it on MDX instead of an in park kiosk.

Once the system is able to handle day guests using the mobile app, that will take a lot of pressure off the kiosks. So if the long lines you're seeing now are the problem, that's just a temporary situation.

I stand corrected! Really? You could go to a kiosk at MK and select a FP at Epcot?

I just want to tear my hair out with the rules constantly changing. If they have a new system -fine - but after trying to learn it and maximize the use they change the rules. It's really frustrating! :headache:

I have planned to RD one park and FP+ in my second park but now that doesn't look like the best strategy? I am sick of planning and re-planning this vacation. Cannot wait until we land in Universal at the end of our vacation so we can relax!

No, no. My original FP were at the Studios, and then after they had passed, I went to MK and used a kiosk there to get a FP for Big Thunder.

I hope so. Those lines looked ugly last month during the princess half wknd. Why would they limit it to kiosks only, though?? Would that be temporary, too? (I asked, knowing we don't have the answer... ;))

I totally sympathize. But don't we want them to make changes based on feedback? I know I do. :) Can't see how they could avoid this.

That's one I don't have the answer to -but it's something I can ask about.

My guess - and it's just speculation based on operational considerations and a lot of years of seeing how Disney "thinks" - would be that if folks are going to get more passes, they darn well better go to the park where they're getting the reservations, so they're more likely to use them. Simplest way to impose such a requirement is to have them be in the park to make the reservations.
