Some posters are already starting to complain about the nonstop criticism of the new Obama administration. Like that guy in the Britney Spears video they are already crying "Leave Barry alone (wracking sob), just leave him alooooone!!" Well, I can feel your pain. We put up with over 8 years of nonstop criticism of GW Bush, some of the nastiest stuff I've ever seen. And it wasn't just Bush it was his family, members of the administration, apointees, the men and women who volunteer to serve their country in the armed forces. Even the innocents whose only association to Bush was being unlucky enough to be riding in an airplane or going to work in the World Trade Center ended up being "Little Eichmanns". So, in the spirit of compassionate Conservatism I will randomly find something nice to say about the current occupants of the Oval Office.

So far, the new occupants of the White House have treated it with respect and dignity. We haven't seen or heard of anything like when these ignorant bimbos treated the bed in the Lincoln Bedroom like 2 8-year olds on their first day of summer camp.

I truly enjoy listening to him speak off the cuff. I can simultaneously hear my freshman year Catholic high school English teacher, Father Butler, tearing him to shreds over his speech patterns. Highly enjoyable. And I agree, his daughters are beautiful children.

Crazyforboogie, my panties feel a lot like yours did for the last eight years, except I don't think we "cons" are as mean about it. You have a very skewed opinion of history - from 2001 through part of 2004, Bush's approval ratings were well over 50% - and even hit 90%. From my time on the DIS the "bashing" did not begin until the second term.

Libs don't need to bash when we dislike people. We just try and ignore em and focus on making it better.
