There was a little problem with the prize port. Lily is fixing it which is why no one has really left.

Fin also stopped in for a visit and a cup of coffee.

The room is just amazing! I have to say, the VMK design team has really raised the bar!

I'd have to agree...

As the reliable VMK naysayer, I may have to hang up my hat.

I have been naysaying VMK for quite some time now. The redoing of Months, rereleasing items as opposed to creating new items, Yavn's "Weekly" Newsletters, the decline in the In-Park Quests (before we got word that they were closing down shop altogether), and much much more.

But there was a reason why I returned in 2008. The Magic Months were amazing in the new items released. VMK managed to release Confetti Magic and Levitation Magic without any hint that they were coming. Then we started seeing the release of the VMKTCG items: ToT items, Stitch Magic, and now Shark, with ToT Magic on the horizon. Now, we're FINALLY getting the Pan Ride Items (pay no attention the fact that it was nearly a year from when we started seeing them). BEAUTIFUL items that are going to get me back into the swing of room creations. Methinks a new Indiana Jones ride is in order.

And we're getting hints that the Holy Grail of VMK Naysaying may actually finally be released! The Flying Carpet Magic seems to be closer than we originally thought...

VMK, I don't know what New Years Resolution you made for 2008, but it sure is working.

I was confused when Dreams was saying she loved the Pan on the wall....then she said go walk in the doorway and see:

It was motion activated. Very cool!! Lily was showing us the different wall pieces and how they go together.

For those who play with family:

When I was in there, I saw somebody I used to know ask a question relating to VMKs approval of letting others know your real relationships of family members that play VMK with you. Lily's response was very clear. She said that is not acceptable and you should never refer to others as mummy, sister or your kid as this was against values. I was not aware of this. I knew personal info was against values, but I did not know we could say that somebody was your sister, daughter, mom, brother, etc.


Pirate, your daughter CleverCoolPuppy is a real sweetheart by the way. I see her in a friend's room from time to time and she is such a good kid.

We have never referred to each other as family in game, although we have been on at the same time and have ppl who see us together ask "are you two sisters or something?" to which we just say "nope" and leave it at that. I did add it too my sig here because it just makes it easier and the question doesn't get asked as much, but the discussion still does come up from time to time. We always assumed it was not right to tell this info. in game, however, I wasn't sure if was really a no-no as I see people quite often telling others this person is their mummy or sister "in real". So it's good to know the answer of a question I've been meaning to ask.
