...and for the potatoes...yes, I can make them at home also....but it is something I expect when I go to Ohana...kind of like the bread pudding...it is just not the same without it...
I guess that really does make Ohana unique since you would be very hard pressed to find another Polynesian restaurant serving these two items. Another example of the dining plans mainstreaming menus for cost and mainstream acceptance. There was a day when Ohana was more culturally aligned.
This is exactly what we are worried about...dry buns/bread gives me the SEVERE hiccups...and for hours on end! Were they crumbly? There have been several reports of the buns now falling into pieces as you are trying to eat your sandwich...it is not that I have a problem with wheat buns, it is the dry crumbly part that I have a problem with...the buns were fine before...no hiccups...I am now afraid I will be in agony if I try eat one
