Saw this link and got a little teary-eyed..

That is wonderful. We've been lucky that our DS loves Santa, and we've been able to get some great pictures, and met some really wonderful and patient Santas. I'm so glad that more families get to have those memories.

Neat!! We've never tried Santa visits with our younger dd. She's petrified of Cookie Monster, Bert and Ernie at Busch Gardens' Sesame Street area. Her teacher actually made her a social story to walk her through just waving "hi" to the characters, and moving on. This story was so heart-touching!

They have had this in both of our area malls for quite a few years. I think this is an excellent idea. A lady in my class, attended the event and has for a few years. The lights are on and they give them a ticket and call their number so they do not have to wait in line. They got to play in the play area until their number was called. Santa took a lot of time with the children and they could take time with the photos to get the perfect shot. :thumbsup2:thumbsup2 (two thumbs up :))for providing this great opprotunity.
