Saw the coolest thing today: a Coke Freestyle!

They ARE cool. They had them at the California Adventure Food & Wine Festival last year.

All of our burger kings and firehouse subs in central Florida have these now.

My first experience with one of these was at a Burger King in Kittery, Maine.

It was pretty cool.

isn't there one at the AMC at DTD?...thought I had read about it a while back

There is one at Nations Burgers here in Northern California.
Not coke, but Fanta.

I see a large backup while people try to figure out how it works. :rolleyes1

They have one at Richter's at Universal Studios. DH (who collects Coca Cola memorabilia) thought he had died and gone to Coke Heaven! :worship:

The problem is waiting in line to get a drink:sad2: Seriously, sometimes the lines for these things are out of control and then each person takes 5 minutes to figure out how to use it and make a decision...The restaurant that I went to only had 2 machines for a large number of people, so it was frustrating but the machines themselves were pretty cool:goodvibes

They have one near me at Kelly's Roast Beef(made famous in Good Will Hunting). It was fun the first time but the line can be a killer when they are busy, especially when all you want is a coke and dont need all the special features.

Does it allow you to flavor your soda? For example, can I make a Diet Vanilla Coke with that machine? Or is it just one dispenser for multiple sodas?

You can blend your own. I think one of my children made himself a raspberry diet sprite while the other had a lime Fanta. Neither went over very well, but at least if was fun!

They're all over the place here. Firehouse Subs put them in first around here and now everything else is getting them, too. They're fun. Vanilla Barque's Root Beer is pretty fun stuff. :)

I just used one today at Moe's for the first time here in upstate NY but it was very difficult to figure out. The line is very long because no one knows how to use them!
