I was not impressed and felt it lasted too long. I read reviews here on the DIS before we left home and while I was watching it I kept thinking of one review that said they got the picture after the first few minutes and then it was just repetitive. That's exactly how I felt.

The two men and two teenage boys in our group enjoyed it but no one in our group of 8 had a desire to see it again.

I saw it in May, and wasn't that impressed with it either. I probably won't see it again either. :confused3

so lights camera action is another half baked disney attraction? that is sad to hear, they have been hyping it so much like they did stitch. what a dissapointment that was too.

While we enjoyed it once, we don't see the need to see it again. It did go on a little long, but was well done. The stunts were impressive, but they repeated a lot of it several times.

Glad we did it once, don't have to worry about seeing it again unless they change it up some =)

:moped: I haven't seen it yet but my guess is that most of those that have posted are of the female gender and therefore not prone to auto stunt shows. :moped: I will check it out when I go but since I do not know what to expect, I will leave the speculation for after I have seen it.

I would bet you are right. I think it is more of a guy thing. My sister and I could have slept through it. ( My sister actually did for a few minutes until her hubby woke her up. :teeth: ) Dh and bil both really liked it, as did ds who is 6. My dd who is 8 thought it was OK. I guess I am glad I saw it once, but I wouldn't go see it again.

I'm a guy and I was bored senseless after five minutes. My 17YO son loved it though!

I've been really surprised at the reports of some not liking it, and I'm not sure about it being a gender issue. I'm a female with a 9 year old "girly girl" daughter and we both thought it was awesome! We enjoyed it so much that we insisted that Dad needed to see it when he came down the next week to join us, and we sat through it again and enjoyed it just as much. Maybe we are easily entertained!

We saw it last week and I was really impressed. It was way fun and the crowd really liked it. I'm a 54 yr old female by the way.

As I mentioned above, I didn't care for the show and I won't be seeing it again. HOWEVER, I would strongly encourage anyone who hasn't seen it to SEE IT! That way you can judge for yourself. Don't worry about what other people (like me) say about it!

My 10 yr old LOVED IT!

BUT>>>> when asked if he wanted to see it again.... he said, "why? .. once is FINE, MOM!!"

I thought it was neat, but they really have to do something about the wait before they opened the stadium.

We saw one of the previews in March and loved it. Of course, DH and DS8 both race (late models and gokarts), so they love any fast cars. I thought it was neat to see how they do the stunts. I won't list them so as not to ruin the suprise for someone else.

I liked it quite a bit. The stunts themselves are quite engaging and you have to admire the skill required to pull off quite a number of stunts.

Stunt shows though tend to just turn off some people. My mother hates stunt shows in general. Not sure why but to each, their own.

I mostly went for DNeph (7), who LOVED it - and was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed it myself. The stunts were awesome and I liked the way the show was 'presented' and the stunts were re-run on the screen and explained. I will definitely repeat this show with anyone who hasn't seen it yet whenever I go - may not go back on trips with those who've already been. Be sure and FP the show - looks like they're holding non FP people until the FP people are seated - there was a line of people who weren't seated until the show had already started - I would have hated to be kept standing in line while I could hear the show starting.

My 2 1/2 year old loves Nascar and cars in general. He even makes my Mom put on Speed Channel when she is watching him. :)
He will probably love it...while my older daughters will think its cool for a few minutes and then want to go on.

I think it is an interesting show with good stunts, some of which had the audience gasping out loud. But do keep in mind that it's more than just stunts. They reveal some "tricks of the trade" that are very interesting. And I guess all that car talk -- stuff about engine power and blah blah blah -- really wowed some car buffs in the audience (males AND females), but it was all Greek to me. But I will tell you that my car fanatic husband, our two little girls, and me -- who doesn't even know how to change a flat tire -- we all enjoyed the show thoroughly. You really should see it, but just don't set your standards too high -- they don't do anything that you haven't see on TV or in the movies before -- you just see it live, in person, and that's the fun part.

I loved it- and I am NOT into cars

But I do like stunt shows and seeing how they do things for the movies...

(PS I am a 20 yr old chick) :earboy2:

DH (43) and I (44) only went to this show because we'd done just about everything else we wanted to do at the Studios and wanted to kill some of the time we had left before our dinner ressies. Neither of us really had that much interest in it (and DH is a car nut) so our expectations were low. We were both pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed it....the only thing we absolutely HATED was getting out of the show. It was just a stampede and seemed very dangerous to me. I was very glad we weren't seated up higher in the stands.

I'm not really into cars, but I do want to experience it, if even just one time. Just wondering how long is the show? I'd like to know how much time to alot for it. Do you have to get there early to get a good seat or doesn't that matter in this show? :flower:
