I've seen the dessert lists /prices for a Dp but does anyone have a list for savoury options? I'd seen $17 pp for meats and cheeses.

I was thinking along the lines of something lie mini fish and chips and then 3/4 desserts so was trying to workout rough price pp.

Thanks

We were told that they would do most things that would be at a cocktail party.
Beef Sliders, chicken skewers, peel and eat prawns were all options but we stuck to a popcorn bar and desserts. They brought in a popcorn machine and made boxes of fresh popcorn and had toppings like candy, nuts and chocolate to sprinkle on top of the popcorn. They also brought in caramel popcorn and boxed it up for our guests.

I wanted the sweets but my wife wanted salty and it was a perfect combo.

We plan on having a nacho bar and popcorn at our DP, in addition to sweet items. I know of one bride who is having sliders and Chinese food (I believe hers is a welcome party)

I'm trying to figure out a DP menu and I'm having a hard time!! I know for sure we're having a Make Your Own Sundae Bar, but I can't decide what else to have, if anything. Any thoughts out there? I'd love to hear about menus and prices from others!

From our Jan 2014 Wishes Wedding.

Price $38/person

Churro's
Mini Cheesecakes
Chocolate Covered Strawberries
Mini Chocolate Mousse
Funnel Cake Bread Pudding with Caramel and Chocolate Sauce(served in Mini Crocs)
Mini Fruit Tarts
Assorted Cookies
*Build Your Own Popcorn Bar*
Caramel and Buttered Popcorn(on display in popcorn machines served in red and white boxes) served with assorted toppings, nuts, candies, seasonings.
Also fuit punch, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate.

For our bar we had a signature bar at $34.50/person

We had a Friendship Boat transport all of our guests from the Boardwalk Resort to the International Gate and walked from there to the Upper French Isle. It was much nicer than the exit where we had to go behind the scene's to the motor coach and board by the dumpsters.

We also asked for our dessert party to be extended until 10pm instead of the normal 9:30, it took a little pressing for the extended DP and the boat but it was well worth it.

Im confused. So the dessert party ehat exactly do you pay? The minimun food price so say 250, plus 250 rental location (depending on the location)...so how does the per person prices work in?

That's an interesting option, do you mind me asking how much that works out pp?

Do they just give you a list if items you can have or do you tell them your ideas and they tell you a price,

Elphie will be able to respond to you about the price, but to your second question, I believe it works a bit more like your second though - tell them your ideas, and, if they think they can do it, they'll tell you what it would work out to (generally per person). I believe someone else mentioned that they generally can do anything they already do for cocktail hours (and probably their late night snack menu), but if there is something you really want, ask them, and they will see what they can do.

We literally just got back from our planning session today, so I don't have a BEO yet. We'll see what happens!

Oh ok then, is there a cocktail menu anywhere I can look at for ideas?

I have my menu and the price... I'll post it later when I've got a bit more time!!!!!

You pay the venue rental fee + the food and beverage fees + viewing fees for guests without park admission + any transportation fees.

The food and beverage minimum can be confusing because Disney may express it as a per-person fee or as a lump sum for the venue, but they are equivalent. Every venue has a dessert party food and beverage minimum of $23 x the minimum number of people required to use that venue.

For example, UK Lochside has a food and beverage minimum of $460 because its minimum guest count is 20 (20 x $23 = $460).

This is helpful to know because dessert party menus can be completely customized, and they quote you the prices per person. So if the first menu comes back at $45/person and you're on a tight budget, you can work with your planner and the catering team to whittle it down to as low as $23/person and still meet your minimums (and if you're serving beverages, those count toward the minimum too, so the dessert price could go even lower if you wanted).

Ok our menu is:

Norway School Bread
Sticky Toffee Pudding
Assorted French Macarons
Mickey Rice Krispie Treats
Chocolate Peanut Butter Marshmallows
Apple Crisp with Warm Vanilla Sauce (though I'm contemplating asking for vanilla ice cream)
Assorted Mini Pies (including peach, strawberry rhubarb, coconut custard, & blueberry)

Assorted coffee, tea & lemonade with syrups, etc. and milk is BOC.

This menu is kind of pricey... It's $38 per person.

I don't know... I was thinking about ditching the chocolate peanut butter marshmallows for something else. But people here seem to feel very strongly that they're amazing, plus they're the only chocolate I have!

If you're having chocolate peanut butter marshmallow bars, they are fantastic. But "chocolate peanut butter marshmallows" may be some new variation and quite different. Epcot took the bars off their menus a few years ago, but you can always request them.

I asked for the bars... So I will definitely clarify that with the young lady helping me out!!! I was thinking of dumping them for a popcorn bar like the poster has above, but if you say they're fantastic I might keep them! I don't know I'm thinking I might be missing something salty but without the chocolate I'd be missing... Chocolate!

They are honestly amazing!!! I wish you could buy them somewhere in the parks-best dessert treat I've ever had in WDW! I would even settle for the recipe. We had some leftover from our DP & we snacked on them throughout our honeymoon-we were so sad when they were all gone!
