We're doing this tour for the first time on our upcoming trip. The description says:

"While savoring the savanna scenery, you’re invited to indulge in a sampling of African-inspired cuisine too, paired with a selection of regional beer and wine offerings."

I'm curious how much food is included in a "sampling". Is it like light appetizers, or can you make a full meal of it?

Thanks!

Thank you for the replies! The only night we were able to get a reservation at Jiko is the same night we're doing Savor the Savannah. I'll try to change the Jiko reservation to another night, but at the moment, it's not looking promising.

Just did it a few weeks ago. We did a late dinner on top of it (more like lounge snacks) ... but we're big eaters. It's served "family style" on a table in the center of the boma and then you can fill your plate and take it back to your table. There's cheese, fruit, charcuterie, curried chicken salad, tandori shrimp, olive salad, roasted red pepper hummus, breads, and then there's a dessert selection on top of that. Such a fun tour!

says park reservation required but what if we have a reservation for another park that day but we have park hoppers? can we do the other park in the morning then head over with our hoppers? what if the park is at capacity?

You can hop with hoppers
Only one park has ever hit capacity since reservations started. MK on OCT. 1. Fora very brief period. It won’t be an issue

I am concerned because the date available for the tour is showing no park availability week of April 18-22. afraid to pay $700 and not be granted access
