Saving money on excursions (Western)

Thanks NC--I have a HR shirt collection and I hope to add to it on my cruise. There is a HR in all of the Western ports, except CC..

He is a certified diver, but since I am not certified, we are looking for the Best snorkeling spots/excursions in Cozumel

I'm pretty sure I mentioned it above, but you should really take a look at www.eagleraydivers.com They are a small excursion company and can really give you individualized trips. Since they do both snorkeling and diving trips (sometimes even on the same boat) they might be able to work out something where your boyfriend could do a little diving and you could both snorkel. Or, of course, they could just take you to a couple great snorkeling locations.

The currents at Cozumel allow you to "drift snorkel". This means they look at the current before they put you in the water and you start at one end of the reef and drift to the other with almost no effort on your part. It is wonderful!

One of the owners, Chellie, snorkeled with us as our guide and was fantastic pointing out all the "sights". She is a marine biologist and VERY knowledgeable.

We were so happy with having a low-key, personallized excursion that we will be going with Chellie again when we cruise this fall.
