Saving Money for Disney

I sell on Ebay and just recently deposited $400.00 into my account for Disney! Some things I sold were: Broken LAPTOP! I got $250.00 for this laptop that was just sitting around my house collecting dust! People buy BROKEN Laptops and use them for PARTS! You would be surprised! I also sold my BROKEN Digital camera for $11.00! PARTS!!!! Start looking around your house! ANYTHING will sell on ebay! Give it a try!

Hmmm I should try that too- my dad keeps thinking he can fix this laptop from the 90's

I also have an older model advantix camera that still works great. I just use my digital camera all the time now (is it worth it to bring it to disney??)

Your dh can have all that extra money earned during the deployment allotted to a savings account so it's like you never see it but you know it's around. Each month put in about 75% or so of the extra money that you didn't earn before he went on the deployment. If you are anything like me I need the a little left out because I spend a ton sending goody boxes to my dh.

Do you pay a flat rate for goody box shipments? I was under the impression that now the post office will charge you a flat rate per box that weighs up to 20lbs.

The post offices are offering free shipping supplies for packages going to deployed soldiers, you should look into that.

Also, I wanted to add that an another bonus to having the "extra" pay alloted out of his pay is that if for some reason his pay gets messed up (of course that NEVER happens, ) or he gets a no pay due the allotment is guaranteed anyway so you will have that money to fall back on until it gets straightened out.
