Savi build today!!

Ok here is a review! Was fun but very rushed! They did have a Florida rain storm tonight so cm was frazzled at that. But most of the cm was not feeling Disney magic. ;(. They rush u though building saber! I went in raw not know what or how I wanted the build to be. Maybe that was my fault. But they just hovered over me rushing me to build I tried each piece for look etc.

Idea I give it a A+

build of saber is very solid feeling. So five that a A as well

the main builder I give him a B did t interact with each builder like I feel like he should.

over all just feel like it was rushed and some bad attitudes due to later in day and rain storm. Took Disney magic out of it.

So bummed for you. With the amount it costs to build a saber, it shouldn’t feel rushed! I am looking forward to my first build in June and hoping they are patient with me since I’ve never done it before. Guess I need to do some homework before I go! Thanks for the feedback.

Did they have the sheaths for the lightsabers or did they give you a plastic bag? (My coworker is going in April and wants to build but doesnt want a plastic bag to carry it around in)

Congrats on your lightsaber! It is a cool experience, but I understand why you would feel rushed. I did this last year and didn’t feel like there was really time to try out different combinations during the experience. Luckily I had spent some time thinking about what I wanted to build ahead of time. (My trip got postponed due to COVID so I definitely had time to think about it!)

I agree it would be nice if there was time to play around with different combinations. I guess they have to balance that with the number of people who want reservations. Savi’s is really popular!

Sorry to hear you felt rushed, but hope you enjoy your lightsaber. We built last year and didn’t feel rushed but that could be just our perception. I am an uber planner and had studied the different selections for a while before we went and I looked through lots of pictures of other peoples builds so I knew exactly what I wanted. Because I finished my build first I received lots of one on one interaction with our main guide. But he did take the time to admire others as they finished up.

they have a nicer over the shoulder bag to carry it in. nice foam to keep it safe on flight home etc. they also gave us a bag to put in when raining etc. since that back isnt water proof
