so if I have a AAA membership thru AAA of SC - I could call you and let you do my travel plans or does it need to be a AAA agent affiliated with AAA of SC?

I checked and I CAN make reservations for a AAA discount for room only - and they don't ask for the card.

I had booked 9 nights at POR. I had originally asked if there was a AAA discount when I booked and was told no. So I called back and the amount off with AAA was $170. Doesn't sound that great to me. How about you AAA experienced people? Less than $20 a night off? June 26 - July 5 in case you are wondering.

We saved $157/night at AKL CL in March through a AAA discount (called CRO). It's 25% off the rack rate.
