Saved tons of $$$ on next WDW/DCL trip....

We are taking a Disney Cruise &then going to WDW for three days after that. My first way of saving money was getting a free airline ticket from freq. flyer miles ($241 savings). Then NOT using Disney Cruise Line trans and Mears and getting a rental car ($30-40 savigns depending on gas). Then we have a bunch of points for hotels! I am getting a free night at Hampton Inn in Cocoa Beach the night before the cruise and breakfast in the am! Then for the three days after the cruise I am using another freq. hotel card for 2 free nights with Country Inn and Suites Calypso Cay in Orlando ($69 x 2 days) which includes free breakfast. Pretty good! I am a stay at home mom with alot of love for budgeting! My husband also travels for work ALOT and I make him take advantage of all the ff programs. If anyone know where I can get coupons for a free upgrade with Budget rental car let me know. Has anyone ever stayed at the hotels mentioned above?

Wow! Great job! With all your free hotel rooms and the free airline ticket you should have excellent final budget. My family stayed at the Country Inn and Suites, Calypso Cay in December and loved it. Everything was in great shape since it's only a few years old, and we thought it was nicely decorated. The microwave and frig came in handy, and we all enjoyed the chocolate chip cookies they had out for guests in the lobby. I don't know if you're taking the kids this trip, but ours really liked their pool (zero entry), which has a waterslide and giant crab, and the mini-golf. Breakfast wasn't all that impressive, but we're not huge eaters, so it was fine for us.

I have a question about the entertainment coupon for the car rental. we just got a book $10 free shipping. We are going on our trip in december and I know the book expire in November can I book the car before that and use the coupon or does the coupon have to be valid at the TIME of rental rather then the time of booking?

The 2004 Entertainment Books were originally $20 plus shipping. Then, they went on sale for $15 with free shipping. Now they are $10 with $5 shipping. So, even though you missed the "free shipping," you will still pay the same amount. Either way, getting an Entertainment Book for $15 is a GREAT deal.
