I called about Annual Pass' today. And I found out that if I purchased my AP's today I would receive 20% off my campsites reservations for April 17-24. I made the purchase over the phone and will pick the passes up at the front desk at the Fort when I check in. They won't activate until we use them in a turnstile (sp?) for the first time. This is cool. If I had waited and checked in and then purchased the AP's at the Magic Kingdom I wouldn't have got the 20% discount on my campsite ressies for this trip! Yipee for me!

Awesome! I'm pretty psyched about our trip in June. I called to add one night and inquired about discounts (no go on fl resident)..and low and behold there was only a passholder discount available for preferred....and we booked full hookup! SO...with discount we got the upgrade CHEAPER than the original booking. The new total is only $30 more...with an extra day (which at the original rate would have been another $90)...and now we're up front!

Awesome! Were you already a passholder or did you purchase one? :cool1:

I bought ours last fall. Got in on the 3 extra month deal. We're good till the end of this year.

That deal was only good for out of state folks until end of Dec 09. I missed out on this deal. Boohoo! But now that I am a passholder, I will get notificatoins of upcoming deals and hopefully won't miss out next time!

If we were AP holders, I have a feeling we'd NEVER stay home!!!

I may not be correct but I think the "15 month" deal is continuing till August 31st, 2010. From allears.net:

"Effective Sunday August 2, 2009 there is a change in policy concerning renewal of certain Walt Disney World Annual Passes. This change applies to Tourist Premium Annual Pass, Tourist Annual Pass, Florida Resident Premium Annual Pass, Florida Resident Annual Pass, and Florida Resident Seasonal Pass.

This change specifically does not apply to Epcot After 4:00 Annual Pass, Water Parks Annual Pass, or Disney Quest Annual Pass.

Renewals within 30 days before or after the expiration date will receive an additional three months and will be valid for 15 months from the expiration date of the current pass. Renewal Exchange Vouchers sold prior to August 2, 2009 may be redeemed with this offer provided the renewal is occurring August 2, 2009 or later. This promotion will continue through August 31, 2010."

I think (hope) the out of state passes are the "Tourist" Premium or Annual Pass. We are hoping to get the extra months when we renew this June. I just called today and got the 20% discount for the June trip, brought the $80/night site down to $64/night.

The key word here is "renewal". This was the first time that I purchased an AP. Now a new "purchaser" that is a FL resident can get the 15 for 12 pass. Oh well, maybe next time.
