Save the dates?

Does disney send them out for you? When do they do this and does anyone have any pictures of them?

I have been wondering this same thing. Does it only tell the date or does it give more info considering it's a destination type wedding??

If you are having a custom wedding Disney sends out Save the Dates right after your contract is signed and the deposit is cashed. I am pretty sure that you can see what they look like in the wishbook. They include all sorts of information about the resorts, tickets, transportation and other important info for your guests.

The save the date is a pretty thick packet that basically tells your guest that someone they know is having a fairy tale wedding so they may as well have a fairy tale vacation. The whole packet is all about planning a disney vacation. In the very back there's a pocket where they put the actual save the date.
It tell's your guests the date, the location, which hotels you've selected for them, and your website address. (I think you can personalize it more but I'm not sure.)

You will get your save the dates after Disney gets your contract after you have signed it. Here is a sample they gave me.

Correct me if I am wrong...but guests can book through our room blocks from a website listed on Save the Dates??
