If you are going near Christmas time, you will see lots of people wearing the Santa hats with Mickey ears. They are especially nice to have your group picture taken in if you go to MVMCP. I took my Mom and 3 neices last year , and knew I wanted them for the photo, but I also knew that for five of them it was going to be pretty expensive for a hat that would probably only be worn that one night. So I bought the cheap Santa hats at the dollar store and a bag of Christmas color assorted size pompoms at Walmart. Glue 2 big white pompoms near the one on the end of the hat to make a Mickey, and 1 big one and 2 small ones,either red or green, on the front white band to make a Mickey there. Total cost for 5 hats was less than $10, people were asking us all night where we bought our hats! I am taking a different neice this year and I bought her a child size Santa hat last night at Walmart for $1.83, getting out the glue this afternoon.
I also made us matching sweatshirts by stamping a snowflake design randomly on the shirt and then gluing pompom Mickeys to the middle of the snowflakes.
I have glued these things to all sorts of stuff, the backs of the cheap one size fits all gloves, to hair barrettes, pony tail elastics and shoe laces. If you glue them to something you are going to wash, make sure and use fabric glue, use quite a bit of it as these things soak it up, but it dries clear. You will probably have to hold it for a couple of seconds, press down on it.
