Save money on passes with target and way.com

Okay, so i am a newbie to the whole disney thing and also coupon thing. I been doing a whole lot of research and i found 2 ways to save money on discount tickets/passes. Both ways are found here on the disney boards but im not sure if anyone has combined the 2 ways to save money on passes. What i am planning on doing is buying my 3 day park hopper tickets thru way.com ($265 after way.com discount $240) for a savings of $25(plus i get magic morning). Then i will purchase disney gift cards at target with my red card (target debit/credit card) to get 5% off. After reading the forums on here about way.com, i found out that you can upgrade there tickets to annual passes and disneyland will upgrade for the full ticket price ($265 for 3 day park hopper[i will pay $240]). So if you purchase the deluxe pass with the discounted disney gift cards purchased at target with the red card, i will save an additional $13.20 for a total of $38.20 in savings for the deluxe pass. If i were to upgrade to the premium pass, i will save an additional $21.70 for a total savings of $46.70. I dont think anyone else have came up with this idea and posted it yet. I also dont think you can save more then what i posted thru any other site/offer. If you have a different way that will save even more money, please post! Thanks everyone!

YOU CAN ALSO PURCHASE TARGET GIFT CARDS FROM GIFT CARD EXCHANGE SITES LIKE CARDPOOL.COM OR MANY OTHERS SITES ALIKE TO SAVE OVER 3% ON THE GIFT CARDS. After reading the forums on here about way.com, i found out that you can upgrade there tickets to annual passes and disneyland will upgrade for the full ticket price ($265 for 3 day park hopper[i will pay $240]).

Be careful expecting the tickets to be bridged. There are mixed reports about which tickets purchased from which whole sellers will be bridged. The general advice is to not expect the tickets to be bridged because it does not necessarily seem to be consistent.

I've been able to bridge my tickets when purchased from Orbitz, however, I've read countless times that it doesn't normally happen. My cousin also had her tickets bridged and she purchased through Velocity Tours. But like a PP said, don't count on it.

Also, so you know (I could be wrong so double check) I believe you can only use 3 forms of payment. So if you have more than 3 gift cards it won't work.

I did almost exactly as you describe but bought tickets from Orbitz instead of way.com. My tickets each carried $25 discounts and I earned 6.5% cash back from ebates. Then, I used gift cards purchased at Target with redcard to pay the difference at ticket booth when I upgraded. I ended up paying about $50 less per AP when all was said and done. You can use as many gift cards as you like (I used about 18) when purchasing/upgrading tickets at DLR ticket booth.
