Saudi help required

My brother has managed to bag a job in Saudi. They are trying to fast-track visas, work permit etc and are hoping to get him out the middle of August.

Looking for any suggestions on things he should think about eg bank account, sending money home etc
Any websites or links that would be useful greatly appreciated.

I think I saw an advert by HSBC about a service that deals with emigrating - I don't know how helpful that is. Also he will need to tell the HMRC - for example child benefit and tax credits etc, I work for the Revenue so I know that he will have to tell the different depts seperately.

He does not need to worry about child benefit but I will let him know about contacting IR anyway.
