Saturdays at MK - still crowded??

Since the early entry park on Sat. is now MGM, not MK, is Saturday still a zoo at the MK? Spectro & Wishes are being shown every night the first week in January, so I'm wondering if it's safe to hit MK on that first Saturday (1/3)??

we just returned home today and since they were filming for the xmas parade yesterday it was a zoo. there were ten hundred zillion people there, even outside you couldn't walk side by side. I'm sure the parade had a lot to do with that, but last Sat. it was almost as crowded.

We were there last night too, and I have never seen so many people!!!

as the holiday season gets closer and closer... almost everyday at any park will be crowded... dont let it get you down though!

Also arriving January 3rd, and planning to go to MK...the absolute first thing I want to do is the Railroad all around the park!

Just out of curiosity, why ride the WDWRR first thing? It is a long ride that you can catch in three different places any time of day... Your prime riding time is in the first 2 hours of the day.

Anyway, like I said, just curious. If that is what your and yours realy want to do, fantastic. That's the great thing about WDW, a little bit of something for everyone.

We were in WDW in June. The Saturday crowds were huge there too. We avoided MK on Saturday, but we heard reports from others at ASMo.
