Just wanted to comment... missed the meet, but I saw pics on a blog (thanks dumbo_buddy), and we saw a bunch of you, corrinak and Rose&Mike for sure, at JellyRolls on Sat night. We were the group of girls in black t-shirts next to you.

Team Goddess! I know Tracy had said something about knowing some Team Goddess people, but I wasn't sure if you were WISHers or ROTErs or some other sort of group. Congratulations on the race. You guys had a strong turn out!

Jen (jbucci) and Maria (Worfiedoodles) were the others there that night from Ohana. Sorry if we were obnoxious...None of us had that much to drink, but I think the fatigue was a factor - none of us napped that day - plus being pressured to dance by crazy 21 year olds...

the meet-up was superfun and i'm SO glad i went. about and hour before the meet-up i was sitting in my room thinking that i wasn't going to go because i was anxious. i'm glad i told myself to suck it up and be a big girl!

i wish i could have joined you at dinner that night. sitting on a plane after a race like that really stunk! especially when i got up after sitting there for so long. OUCH!

Kat - I didn't think you guys were obnoxious! I think you should have kept "Wooing" every time they said "Team Goddess" even though they were giving you a kind of a hard time about it. It was FUN!


Nancy - I'm SO glad you decided to come to the meet! The first time meeting internet friends can be so intimidating - I'm glad you had a good time! Did you sit for the entire flight and then stand up? Yow - that does sound uncomfortable. I hope your soreness is past now.

My knee tendonitis has settled down a lot, thank goodness. It no longer speaks to me when I stand after sitting a while or when I walk. However, I am taking this very seriously and will be continuing to avoid running on it for at least a week, and will keep the distances short for the next month. I'm going to do more cycling and swimming in the meantime.

I went to a group cycle (spin) class today and they had a funky new machine called a krankcycle?? It is like a bike for upper arms. I did the last 10 minutes of the class on one and wow - that's a different experience! I definitely have a HUGE amount of respect for the wheeler athletes in the first place, but this gave me an added appreciation.

Thanks again to everyone who made it to the meet! Meeting up with WISHers is definitely one of my favorite parts of racing at Disney and I am so glad we were able to have such a nice group gathered for the Disney Princess weekend!
