Ok, unfortunately my original dates are not going to work & I have to make up my mind & book before hotels rate go up.

We could either go saturday the 11th (even though im kinda of allergic about saturdays at the park) or sunday & monday 18th/19th. I don't know what will be best:confused3 it's been many years since we don't go to DL during the Holidays. We would be happy by just ridding Star Tours, Indiana Jones, POTC & watch the parade & fireworks, we won't be park hopping this time.

Any help & insight will be appreciate it :goodvibes

Honestly, I don't think there will be a huge difference. It is so busy at holiday time. If you get to the park early and utilize FP, you should be fine making it for the parade and fireworks. We will be there th 16th - 18th:thumbsup2

That was my thought too. I'm leaning more to 18/19 since we would have at least 2 days vs. one.

I would guess your earlier date will be less crowded (barring rain)--the park tends to get busier as the holidays progress.

But the difference may not be noticeable (December weekends are just going to be busy), and I doubt Monday will be busier than the Saturday a week before it, while it could be less busy.

At any rate, I'd definitely take 2 days over 1!

I am going the 19th and 20th...so the evil part of me says, "not the 19th cause I don't want it more crowded." But the sensible side of me says it will be the better choice for you. Wear your LGMH!

PS....I am praying for rain to keep the crowds away :rotfl:

I agree it will be busier, but you will have twice the time to use early and late hours, see shows, and use Fastpass.

Does anyone know if Disney Hotels are offering the FP like they did some months ago?

We love rain and actually wouldn't mind any (except for fireworks & parades of course) :goodvibes

Oh, please thank your sensible side for the tip :rotfl: ;)

I am not 100% but I do not think they are offering the FP for Disney Hotel guests in December

The new general public discount "Winter package" starts in January and this includes the FP for Disney Hotel guests. I booked a mid January stay and was suprised to read the FP for Hotel guests booking the Winter package.

It looks like the DLR is expecting large crowds in December. The AP room rates are more then the general public rates and the GCH hotel is on/off again on the AP website (it is not even listed as a hotel option, just the Paradise Pier and the Disneyland hotel are showing up)
