Saturday, August 6th?

I'm planning a trip to Disney Land for August 3rd - 9th. We want to plan 3 full park days and have 4 day park hopper tickets. We'll probably use one day to spend an evening in the parks after a beach or Hollywood day.

I'm wondering about Saturday August 6th. I planned on avoiding the parks assuming that a Saturday will be crazy busy. The toss up for me is that it is the only day that all of the AP's are blocked. I don't want to miss the day if it would be a slow one. So far I have our 2 off park days as Saturday and Sunday. There would be some benefit in doing a park day on Saturday and leaving a weekday for the Warner Brother's tour that is only offered during the week.

Thanks for any help!

I'd go on the Sunday since it's generally a lighter day and quieter night. If you need to take a weekday off for WB studios skip DL on the Friday or as a second choice the Monday.

As much as I love Disneyland, I would definitely say to take the Warner Brother's tour however you can. Crowd sizes have been wonky this summer. Annual pass blockouts are determined a year in advance based on Disney's complex algorithm, but are not always accurate in predicting the heaviest crowd days. There are definitely the "Saturdays are more crowded, go on Sundays" adherents and the "Sundays are more crowded, go on Saturdays when APs are blocked" adherents. I say it could go either way. Just do whatever works out best for your schedule with working in WB's.
