For those who have braved the crowds during the first few days of Pandora's opening, what have the lines been like at Satu'li Canteen? It sounds really yummy so I am considering foregoing a TS ADR in order to give it a try but I don't want to have to wait an hour in line. We are fine eating at an "off" time in order to bypass long lines. Are there separate lines for those who pre-order (really not sure how that whole thing works to be honest).

Following. I would love to know about the crowds as well. And the food definitely looks scrumptious! I am intrigued. I have read posts from people who have eaten there....but I forgot to ask what crowds were like. @MrsDuck ate there recently. She posted a review. Hopefully she will chime in about the crowds.

Some people have described the food, pre-ordering, and the crowds in the incredibly long official Pandora thread. And prior to that many people have reviewed the food earlier in the thread during previews.

I linked to something I found by doing a search in the thread for Satu'li after May 26 - just to give you a starting point in the long thread. I would also purposely misspell it without the apostrophe (or any other way that comes to mind). I've been following the thread pretty closely since we arrive in WDW next week.

You might also want to post your question in that thread, since it is probably the most active place to get your answer regarding food (and crowds for food) in Pandora - and anything Pandora.

I've heard several accounts that the mobile ordering is very easy and they can pick up food with pretty much no wait. Since I love Starbucks mobile ordering, I bet I'll love this too! Have a great time and report back, please!

And your question prompted me to post over there on something I've been wondering!! The Nomad Lounge was such an oasis before Pandora opened - what's happened since?

We ate there on Monday. My husband didn't want to mobile order to ask the CM about the fish, so we waited in line.

There barely was a line. We were in and out and had our food within 5 minutes at 11:45AM on Monday. The food was very good and also very filling; I would expect portion sizes to shrink a little over time. The sustainable fish was halibut and my husband had it with the hash and chimichurri. I don't even like fish and it was good. I had the chicken and the hash with the herb dressing. We had no issues with finding a table inside either.

The drinks did not use the RFID chip silliness they installed elsewhere a few years ago. We did see some management cast members keeping an eye on things likely to see how often people are refilling drinks, food wastage, flow of the building (i.e. leaving with your food you sort of walk in front of an ordering area...the design doesn't make sense there). I saw a CM write something down after we dodged people with our food.

Just to clarify - an ADR is not required (or even possible) for Satu'li Canteen. However, if you wish, you can order your food via the MDE app rather than queuing in the traditional manner.

I don't know about crowds since I went during the passholder preview, but the food is amazing! I got a chicken rice bowl that you create and it was really good and huge portions. I would definitely go back there

The mobile ordering is awesome! Our food was ready in no time and no line at all to pickup. I really hope they eventually expand mobile ordering to other QS.

This summer, Flame Tree Barbecue, Pizzafari and Restaurantosaurus will be added to the mobile ordering lineup. No exact date has been announced for the rollout, but it should be soon.

We ate early for lunch and the crowds were low. We went back for dessert around 1 and it was very busy!! This was doing the DVC preview, though.

I ate there during the AP previews and used the mobile ordering. It was super easy, and there is a separate line just to pick up mobile orders (it's the first one when you go in).

There's also real plates and silverware, a refillable drink dispenser, and if you look under some of the bench seats - outlets (they are metal flaps that you need to lift up). Great food (the chocolate cake was awesome), and you can recharge your phone while you eat.
