Sat July 11 attendance

we were just there saturday - was my daughter's 10th birthday. this was our first trip to DL - been to WDW 5 x - i was expecting the worse but the crowds were not bad at all. most of the day the lines were 30' or less with the exception of splash mnt. we did everything we wanted -even TSM 3x! was pleasantly surprised. was anyone else there saturday?

We were, we spent most of our time in DCA but yes, the crowds were very very low!! We went to DL just in time to see the fireworks, walked down MS and into the hub and found a good spot to stand with a good view of where Tink & Dumbo fly. Then we proceeded to pin trade for most of the night. LOL But yes, it was very uncrowded this past weekend, Sunday was very quiet too.

thanks- i just figured a saturday in july would be nasty- but we were told most of the AP's have restrictions on weekends.

as i mentioned, this was our first trip to DL - space mountain was soooo much better than WDW - don't know if true, but Splash seemed steeper but a shorter drop. we were there from 720a to 930p - also had caricutres done of the kids by a wondeful artist - kim in new orleans. overall a very fun and memorable day!

We were there. (my birthday as well) We were amazed at how low the crowds were for a Saturday, or for any day of the week during summer for that matter. Monday was another story though.

All APs except the Premiums (which we have) were blacked out for Saturday. I thought Sunday would be packed because they are not all blacked out for Sunday but no, Sunday was just as quiet as Saturday was.
