My family and I will be staying at SSR from May 17-30. We are very excited. It’s our first time at this resort. We rented points through Dave’s and will be in a studio. It will be myself, my husband, and 2 sons (22 and 19). We have 10 day PH tix with water park. If anyone has anything about the resort they recommend I would love to hear everything!!

The Paddock pool has a great pool bar and food! Plus a fun slide. Look for the turtles as you cross the bridge from one side of the resort to another..there are usually a number of them. Try the homemade potato chips at SSR quick service. Take the walk from SSR to OKW for lunch at Olivia's. Enjoy!

You can tour the Grand villa there right now just stop by the DVC center near the main pool

We love SSR. If kts an option rent a car. You get to park right out front of your room. So convenient.

I recommend requesting a villa in the Grandstand section. It's the first stop going to the parks and the first returning from the parks. It is close to the Carriage House and and a nice walk to Disney Springs.

That is the last section to be refurbished, so it could be hit or miss on refurbished room. It’s supposed to be finished by summer.
