We are staying at SS in June (My husband, 3 year old son, and I) and when I made the reservation I requested a water view room. I will be calling to confirm and was wondering if I should request a certain building (Congress, Springs) Which will be better with a 3 year old in tow? My husband will be at a conference each day so I am planning to take my son to the Mk, Ak and the pool alot, also will walk over to DTD most nights. Thanks for your advise!

We stayed in room 3525 (The Springs) in April. It was really great, and you can take a boat or even a nice walk to DTD. Our room had a water view and very close to the bus stop, pool, and Artist Pallet.

We stayed in Congress Park last week. We didn't have a water view, but many there do. We were steps from the bus stop and 10 minutes from DTD by foot which were both appreciated perks! :)

Which area is closest to the main pool and Artist Pallet?

"The Springs", we had 9 of us all staying at the Springs, 3 rooms together. Very close to the bus stop, check-in and main building. The main pool has a 0 entry for the little ones which worked out well for our three grandchildren. The walk to DTD was very relaxing if you would want to take the walk. The bus service worked out well for all the pick-ups, never had a problem with timing.
