Saratoga Springs or Old Key West

Just booked a trip for eight for the first week of December. We had choice between Saratoga Springs and Old Key West because of the size of our party. Anyone have any input into which would be better with young kids.

We like OKW, the rooms are bigger and you don't have a pull out sofa in the second bedroom. The patio is also larger you get a table and four chairs, (most of the patios face the golf courses, so in the morning you can enjoy jour breakfast and watch the golfers), where as in Saratoga you just get chairs.

We have owned OKW since 1992, and have stayed in all of the DVC resorts and OKW will always be my favorite.

We're just back yesterday from 14 night stay in SSR, we requested refurb studio overlooking DTD in Congress Park. Got the prefect room. Really did prefer it to OKW (stayed there couple years ago) Our daughter is nearly 13, so didnt spend a great deal of time around resort. The pool at the Springs is great, they have another one at the paddock DH and DD went to it one evening after parks. Id say buses were better than OKW we only used our bus stop once there (Pennisular Road) as it took about half an hour just to get round the resort! Slight drawback of SSR buses is that the Springs (main bus stop) is the last stop in resort.

We loved SSR and would definitely stay again x
