Saratoga Springs New Section

This was in Vacation Magic Newsletter:

The new section on golf course (4 buildings) will be called The Grandstand. There will be a 2,490 square foor, racetrack theme leisure pool, 1,257 sq fott interative water area and a 118-square foot pool. Area will include restrooms, laudry facilities, the Backstretch Bar and a barbeque pavilon. One builidng will open every month or two starting beginning of 2007.

Isn't this awesome? Can't wait!

Yeah i was just on the phone with the people from the DVC since im looking into buying into it in a few months and they told me that it should start construction sometime in like november or so and will most likely be sold out in about a year...and this is the final phase of the saratoga springs DVC

I was there in Feb 2006 and they already had foundations in. I'm sure they will start using the 1st quarter of 2007. I have stayed at SSR four times and absolutely love it! I think The Grandstand area will be the best location.

I wanted to be able to buy into the VWL but I coundn't have afforded it when they were selling it then but I am all set to get into the Saratoga Springs! Its going to be my birthday present for myself when I go in March!

Well, as far as we are concerned, the sooner they get to the completion of SSR, the sooner we will know where the next DVC resort will be. There are soooo many rumors!

What exactly is an "interactive water area"?

Sounds great, we actually stayed right across the street from the new construction in May. The new bus stop was already open, and that was awesome because it was right outside our building.

I hope they add another full service restuarant.
