Saratoga Springs help!

We don't have problems with the buses there and Springs is the most centrally located to everything.

I would want the Paddocks area due to the new pool.

We stayed a week at SSR and LOVED it. Our room was in Congress Park, with a great view of DTD. It was quiet and relaxing. We had no issues with the bus system and the rides to the parks did not seem long. We look forward to staying there again!

I loved SSR so much i bought 160 points there in May. We stayed at the Springs which i thought was great. Walking distance to get coffe in my mug while waiting for the bus.

Busses are tricky at the Springs station it is the last on the route for pick up and drop off. Now if you are in a THV then you have to take a bus from the THV to SSR then another bus to the park of choice. Dont worry about the busses they are very frequent. I can say that the worst leg is DTD, but you can always walk there from Congress Park. The DTD busses often stop at a Water Park as well before returning to the resort. enjoy the trip and dont worry about the busses.

I've never stayed at SSR but my family has requested a THV for part of our trip next March. We are doing a splt stay between BLT and THV. Can anyone tell me how often the buses run in the THV section to get to SSR?

We love SSR and are happy it's our home resort. We're making our rounds of other DVC resorts because we love the variety - but would not be the least disappointed with staying at SSR repeatedly. The pool is one of our favorites, as is Artist's Palette for CS and don't miss Turf Club - which is under appreciated in my opinion.

As for the bus ride, it never bothered me and I don't remember thinking it was excessively long. I will say that my only complaint was that the buses did get full, but staying in the Grandstand section, you shouldn't have any issue. We were in the Springs which was a great location, but the buses were full sometimes when they got to us during peak hours and that could be frustrating.

All in all, you will enjoy staying at SSR and it is a lovely resort.

When we stayed there in 2009, the shuttle ran about every 10 minutes. AFAIK, it was one bus that made continuous rounds between the two Treehouse stops plus The Grandstand and The Springs at SSR.
