Saratoga Springs Fees

What I know for sure is that I am paying $55.71/month for the 150 point SSR contract I have (a June use year if that matters).

Paying $55.71 per month for 150 points equates to $668.52 maintenance per year. Dividing $668.52/150pts = $4.4568 per point

I do have 150 points and I do pay $55.71/month. Could it have something to do with having a June use year for a resort that opened in May, but the first dues payment was taken in July.

TJKAZ can you help by either confirming or correcting my numbers?

It is 3.80 per point. How much you pay per month in 2004 will vary. The points were pro-rated based on the May 17th (?) opening date. Then they took that annual amount and broke it down by month based on the first month you had the dues taken out. My contract was for 150 points. In June they did the pre-note to my checking account and then in July my first payment was taken. So I am paying over 6 months for that. But in late April I did a 25 point add-on. While the points are still prorated from the May date, due to the timing of the closing on the add-on, the pre-note didn't go through until July and the first dues came out of my account in August. So for those points they spread it out over 5 months.

I do hope that I can get both payments merged together in 2005.

I'm assuming you bought into one of the first two buildings, which would start pro-rated dues application in June. Since your payments didn't start until July, you're paying 7 months of dues in 6 months.

If you follow me, the math would be:

$3.80 / 12 (months in year) x 7 (months of SSR) = $2.2167 prorated dues for 2004

$2.2167 x 150 pts = $332.50 total 2004 payment

$332.50 / 6 (equal monthly installments) = $55.42 per month.

Sounds close enough to me. :teeth: They probably made some allowance for May 17-31st (assuming you're in the first building), which pushed the total dues up a bit more.

As stated, the exact amount of 2004 dues at SSR is $3.8005 per point, prorated for the occupancy date and/or Use Year of the contract.

B'rer Karen:

Yes, I agree. On our most recent trip, July 2004, we did a non-Disney theme park trip, just USF and IOA, and one of the things I missed the most was a Dole Whip as well as a turkey leg. There is a small ice cream shop nearby that has dole whip, but I have yet to catch them on a day when they have the flavor I want.

Well Rex, I was reading your post thinking "I like this guy. He values a Dole Whip" and then you had to go and ruin it all with the image of a Turkey Leg. Blech! :crazy2:

I'm joshing, I'm sure you're a great person. Just please give up the Turkey Legs!!!!!
