Saratoga Springs barbecue area question

We will be staying at SSR next month and are thinking of possibly grilling out one day for dinner, making use of the property's barbecue area. Does anyone know if this area has coal type grills, or are they gas? Also, does the resort provide grill tools, like a flipper or tongs?

The grills are charcoal. I read that you could check out the grilling equipment at Hank's Rent and Return by the main pool area and Community Hall. There were several nice grilling areas. We were staying in the Grandstands and there was a covered area with 2 picnic table and 2 grills rigt by the pool. It was being used everynight we went by. We plan to make use of the grills on our next trip.

You can purchase a small bag of Matchlight (already has fluid on it) at Artist Palette for around $5. It can be a seasonal item, but be sure to ask if you dont see it on the shelf.

Also, there are grills at GS, CP, and Paddock pool areas.

Don't forget a lighter or matches.

Like at OKW, no grills by the main pool so don't ask for the springs or carousel ares if you're interested in grilling out.
