:goodvibes Hi all,
We are spending a night in Saratoga Springs next week. Can anyone reccomend a nice restaurant within easy distance of Saratoga. What is the sitdown restaurant at the resort like. Could anyone reccomend Raglan Road or any others nearby.
Thanks:goodvibes

I would definitely recommend Raglan Road. I also like Fulton's but I haven't been in 3 yeaars. Heard a few negatives lately. Also, the restaurant, Turf Club, at Saratoga is quite good as well.

Check out the menu at www.allearsnet.com

The onsite restaurant is the Turf Club and it is very good. I would recommend a dinner there. It is a sit down and they specialize in steaks.

Raglan Road is very good but can be noisy. They have Irish dancers and bands on after 8pm and if there are any Irish ppl in there they WILL sing and they WILL join in and the atmosphere is all the better for it. However, if you are looking for a quiet dinner you might want to go elsewhere.

RR is also a DDP restaurant if you are using it.

I'd suggest Portobello Yacht Club (its next to Fulton's) for a good sit-down meal.

We had a nice lunch at Turf Club recently. The restaurant was not too crowded and the food was good. Service was only fair, however. We had dinner recently at Raglan Road and will not go back --- far, far too noisy for our taste. The band could turn down the decibles by half and it would be delightful. But, I'm convinced the average American is already hard of hearing due to use of Ipods, etc., else why would everything at WDW be so darn loud?

our favorite at DDT is WOlfgang Puck. A little pricey (but what isn't at Disney). They have a nice variety for everyone.

I also like the Turf Club at Saratoga. I like their dinner menu better than the lunch menu, but both are good. It is usually not to busy, only a short wait for a table, if that! We are DVC members and we always have at least one meal there.

We where just at SSR and tried several times to eat at turf club. All unsuccessfully. We did not make adr's in advance(here), and with only 2 of us we ASSUMED that we could get in. Only if you wanted to eat dinner after 9pm. Please, if your going at any "busy" time, plan ahead and make the adr. It looked like a very nice room.

Good luck, enjoy SSR, mky:cutie:
