Hello! Was wondering if anyone can confirm if Saratoga Springs has a 5th sleeper in the STUDIO. Not talking about the 1 bedroom villa. Everything I see online shows it sleeps four people. However, on a post in a DVC Facebook group multiple people were saying they just got back and that Saratoga definitely has a 5th sleeper that pulls down from under the TV in studio rooms. Looking to see of anyone else can confirm this info. Thanks!!

No, that is incorrect. The 5th sleeper is only in the villa living rooms. All the SSR studios sleep 4 only.

Disney website still says studios max out at 4 people.
That is correct.
And, as a mom of three, I feel like it would be BIG NEWS if SSR studios suddenly slept 5 because that would make those rooms the lowest point 5 sleepers on property.
I think people get confused because they added a 5th sleeper in the villa living rooms. They used to not have that at all. 1 BR villas went from 4 beds to 5, and 2 BR villas went from 8 to 9. But the number of studio beds did not change.

Yes, i found hard to believe there wasn't any announcements about it, or that Disney wouldn't update their website. But when I saw multiple people comment that they just stayed in them and they had one I was confused.

It doesn't help also when there is a lot of differences between resorts and how they refurbish them. Some studios have that 5th sleeper, some don't, it gets confusing. :confused3

Just an update from the Facebook post. The person said it was an accessible studio in Grandstand. Maybe the accessible rooms had more space to add them? 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Since the refurb, someone posted a photo of a SSR One Bedroom in either Grandstand or Carousel that did not have a twin pull down in the living room. I guess the one thing that could make some sense is if they put a twin in the Studio of that same / similar unit so that the full lockoff 2BR would still sleep 9.

Even if these studio rooms exist, they are incredibly few in number and I wouldn't count on being successful requesting one.

To add a 5th in just the accessibles would create a nasty issue.

You cannot book a studio with 5 over age 2.

I stayed in the studio this past February. I just looked at my video of the room. Murphy Bed and below TV a regular dresser. I will try to attach the video from my other device.

The full size sofa / Murphy bed is present in every SSR studio, along with a dresser underneath the TV.

The issue here is that some people are claiming they had a second twin-size Murphy under the TV in a studio, allowing the room to sleep 5 guests.

Here are two pics of studio at SSR
