We are trying to decide which area to request for our trip.
Can someone tell me what order for Stop’s the busses pickup and drop off?
Also looking for opinions on which sections people like and why.

Are you booked Standard or Preferred?

Preferred get Congress Park or The Springs. Standard is everywhere else. Closest to central services for Standard is Grandstand. Best for Disney Springs Standard is Paddock.

We've only stayed once but I liked the area we ended up in, though I don't think it's all that popular.
We were in Building 70, in The Carousel area, room 7330 (I still have the room alert text)
It was the second bus stop, which was great for heading to the parks and coming back. We never had a full bus but I can tell you a few mornings we had to pass the last stop (in the preferred area) due to the bus being full
Our building was directly across from the bus stop. And we could take the bus a couple of stops further and get off for the Carriage House but it was also not a far walk right down the main road. They also had golf carts there to drive guests back too.

ETA - The best I remember the first stop was The Grandstand, next was The Carousel. I believe Congress Park was last but I am not positive about the order after we got on/off. I just know the came in and went to Grandstand first and us next.

Stayed there twice and both times in Grandstand. That would be my pick. First bus stop, so we never had to worry and we were always the first ones off after a long day. Close walk to the Carriage house to grab something to eat or to catch the boat to Disney Springs. For us the smaller pool was perfect, we never went to the larger pool, but if you have smaller kids, that would be an easy walk too.

We like Paddock because it has a nice pool, and one side is close to Paddock bus stop, and the other is close to Congress Park bus stop. It is a long walk from the lobby/store/quick service though.

The below is (edited) from the DVC forum thread on SSR about bus route, but note it still refers to DTD not Disney Springs. I am sure if that route is still different from theme park buses these days, but it would make sense if it is.

All theme park buses follow the same route. Theme Park -> Grandstand -> Carousel -> Paddock -> Congress Park -> Springs -> Theme Park

The Downtown Disney bus does not follow this same route. It starts at the Springs, then stops at the other four internal bus stops before departing the resort to head to Downtown Disney. This allows you to use the Downtown Disney bus as transportation back to your villa if you're at the High Rock Spring Pool or Carriage House and are staying in one of the sections that's not close to this area of the resort. The Downtown Disney bus route is DTD -> Springs -> Grandstand -> Carousel -> Paddock -> Congress Park -> DTD.

grandstand

we were there in august....we had the grandstand building that is closest to the lobby....a very short walk..

and the bus stops at grandstand first, so you'll get a seat on the bus..

i'd asked for the springs, but they gave us grandstand....in the end, i was really happy with our location...

We were there in Jan of this years.

At the Springs. And we watched many buses go by, full.

Although the Springs is a preferred location, it isn't preferred for buses.

For us, it was a quick walk to Grandstand, where we caught the bus.

We stayed at the Grandstands and it the room was nice, location wasn't bad. We liked it for the bus stop. My father had an ECV and it was good not worrying about getting on the bus. It was close to the main clubhouse too.

We also stayed in Congress Park. I think we got lucky on the 2 days we got the bus from there. We liked it for proximity to disney springs, we could walk. The room was definitely not one of their normally rented rooms, had plumbing issues, missing a pack and play and seemed less nice....

not sure if I have a recommendation, the Paddock pool area looked nice too.

We stayed at Springs a few years ago and found the Bus wait to be crazy. And we saw full busses so that made it worse.

My first trip was in Congress Park and walked everyday to Disney Springs. My trip in 2 months is in the exact same place and suspect all my future trips will be as well.

I rent a car so bus stops are no issue to me.
