Santa!

My family will be going Nov 11-18. I see that Santa is at MK for the Christmas parties but is he there during the day too? If so, what would be an average wait time & best time to go?

we were there a few years ago, but the beginning of December, and Santa was out during the day. We didn't wait all that long, but I will tell you....when we were done, I could have sworn it was THE Santa himself sitting there. We were asked by a cast member if a family with special needs children could go ahead of us, as they had been waiting awhile as well. Of course, we said yes. One of the children was severely disabled. Santa was so kind, so gentle, so loving....it left me in tears, and it wasn't even my child! I get goosebumps thinking about it even now. One of the most magical experiences I have ever had! Have a great time!

I am also wondering this. We will be there thanksgiving week and want to know if Santa will be there. We usually wait for the special needs night at the mall, but Disney would be much better. I have a 13 yo son with autism that is 5'8" that still believes and gets very excited to see him. We are trying to convince him that he may be too big to sit on his lap, but he's already got his list ready NOW!!

I know Santa is at Epcot during the day as of November 27, but I don't remember him being in MK.

We have met him (and Mrs. Claus) in the American Pavillion area on past trips.

Santa usually meets with Mrs. Claus just off to the side of the American Adventure building under the porch like structure on the Japan side.

The Santa/Mrs. Claus at Epcot, in my opinion, are slightly better than the ones at MK and Downtown Disney. We've been to Disney each of the past 7 years around the holidays and they are all good and significantly better than a typical Mall Santa. At Epcot, they meet at the American Pavilion just in front of the restroom and right next to the Kidcot tables which is quite nice as the kids can color and pass the time while the parents wait in line. Enjoy!
