Santa Got Me a DISboarder Weekend to the Mouse!

So I got my ME documents on Friday...which promptly reminded me that I never called ME with my flight times! So as of yesterday and two very lengthy times on hold with Disney...I'm all set. I also confirmed that Yak & Yeti was officially added to the DDP (in case that information can help others).

Can someone tell me why the music quality is so bad when you call Disney? Seriously, it's one of the biggest company in the world and their "waiting" music is terrible. Not that the song choices are terrible...but you can BARELY hear them and make out the words. The songs constantly cut out. So weird

A couple weeks ago when I called, it was so LOUD. I thought it was going to pop my ear drum. I had to hold the phone away from my ear. Usually though, it's too quiet to hear and sometimes I think the CM's are too low too. I am forever repeating myself with them.

Do we not pay enough for our multiple trips that they can't afford to fix the phones...and hire intelligent audible CMs???? (although now I know what they make...I'm not surprised!)

I saw that thread too! Sometimes when I get a CM I have a hard time understanding I just want to hang up and call back but usually those are the times that I've waited 25 mins to get a CM!

It's been ages since I called Disney as it is still too early to make my ADR's for my April trip. I got caught in that switch over to 90 days new reservation system. Frankly I've been waiting so long to make my ADR's that I probably won't notice the horrible audio.

If you call at 7am and get right through...you shouldn't have to endure it for too long!

Did I know that you are going back in April???? I thought 2010 was the next Diamond clan trip????

I've had this ticker in my siggie for months now..

But to refresh your memory. Dh and I are going alone aka no kids or grandparents just the two of us in April for three nights to celebrate my birthday. It's a biggie this year but other than telling you it has two digits I'm keeping the real number to myself.

I think we decided in October to book the trip or rather I finally wore him down then. I know I've made a few references to it on my trip report. We're staying at POP but going with the deluxe dinning plan. I've got the castle booked for my actual birthday dinner on the Friday April 24th and am totally psyched that without Eeoyre and the other kids there I can actually watch the fireworks.

Of course Dh is just pscyhed about going anywhere alone with me. I think he is more interested in the activities that will be going on behind closed doors than any disney park we'll be going to.

I was there all day yesterday. I was soooo obnoxious at work. I told anyone who would listen that I was only a month away from a super fun girl's vacation-where I could actually have a drink-and not have to clean up after other people-and do things at an adult pace!!! I am soooo excited. Not that I don't love going with the boys, it is just a lot of work sometimes (work that I love, but still).

So what are you packing in you park bag? I have my baggalini like any good disser. It was filled to the brim on the last trip, but I can't imagine needing half of that stuff now. I have/am planning to have- a hairbrush, ponchos, medicines, first aid kit, camp towel (or whatever those super absorbant things are called), my camera, my phone, my wallet, hand sanitizer, pressed penny change. . . that's all I can think of - oh and wipes. I have a thing about dirty hands

My bagallinni will be packed very much the same as yours. Although I have to downsize my first aid kit...I always make Randy carry that. Problem is that my camera takes up have the bag! Ok, so you are doing pressed pennies? I was thinking of doing some for Ash and hoping that she didn't notice all the new ones in her book on our next trip!

Don't forget some kind of sunscreen and lip gloss/chapstick. Also important in a park bag.

HELP!!!! I need help completely not trip related. MY MIL sent me a facebook friend request. Do I accept her or not???? Honestly, I would ignore it. I know that sounds mean but yeah. My MIL has facebook and THANK GOD she hasn't found me yet! I deleted one of Marc's cousins after awhile and she hasn't said anything. If she does, I am just going to say it was an accident or "oh I didn't realize!"

Hard to ignore her...she'll walk next door and stand over me until I hit accept. She walks into my house whenever she pleases without calling/knocking/etc. I didn't know you could delete friends...maybe I could accept her and delete her.
