Hi I have emailed the Santa Fe asking if we can stay in same room ( we have 2 bookings 1 for 1 night then another 1 for 4 nights) they have emailed back saying they will see what they can do so there is no point ringing them now is there?

If you,ve had a reply from the hotel by email and thats the only enquiry you have prior to check~in then i,d say no point phoning them to ask the same thing.
