Hi,

I was reading a post earlier - sorry can't remember who posted it - and they were trying to book a certain block at the Santa Fe. I'm staying at the Santa Fe in May (Sun 17th to Wed 20th so excited...) and I've never been before so wondered if any of you pros recommended a certain block and why?

Will it be really busy at this time?

I've already requested my dancefloor table at Auberge De Cendrillon" as recommended on this board for my princess obsessed DDs 4th birthday. I've learnt so much from you all and will no doubt have more questions before I go.

Thanks so much,
Kellie

We were in one of the very front blocks (sorry cant remember number) but it was great.

We were kinda over to the left of La Cantina but right at the front. Was very easy for lots of things (especially the garage at the front for cheap food/drink)

I thought the back of the Santa Fe felt quite dark on a night when we were walking over to Cheyenne at the back.

Just my opinion. :)

I've just come back yesterday.

We were in block 40 room 119. It was right opposite reception. It was very convienient for the bus and breakfast and also for the garage. There were also only 3 other rooms on that floor so it was super quiet!

We came back on Saturday and were in the same room as cap'n jack - Block 40 room 119.

It was ideal to get to everything, closest you could get to go for bus and to get to reception and La Cantina.

PM sent buddy :thumbsup2

Thanks. Can you actually request a specific room or would I just request block 40?

Also any ideas on how busy it will be Sun 17th to Wed 18th May?

Thank you

I'd call and request the specific room and block, they will say that they can guarantee it but 99 times out of 100 you'll be in the block you ask for.

I'd say busy on the Sunday and then quiet Mon-Wed but check the trip reports sticky at the top of the page for ones in March

last week we were in block 14 just opposite the footbridge to walk to the village great spot for us .we were in room 144 which had the bunk beds .

I didnt know you could request a block, me and my friend are going march 9th. its already been booked about 2 weeks, can we still try requesting a block or is it a bit to late?

I usually wait until about 2 weeks before I'm arriving, then call the hotel and request the room/block I want.

oh ok thank you, i might do that:)

so block 40 is the most popular then?

Hi

Sorry to gatecrash this post, but I was wondering if anyone has a layout plan of the blocks at the Santa Fe - you know the ones you are given when you check in so you know where to go? I've had a look on the Sticky for the hotel but can't see anything. Anyone have one they can scan in??

Pretty please?? :flower3:

Here you go :)

Thanks Bexx, that's just what I was looking for.

What was your block like? It looks a long way from where you have breakfast!

i think it was me who posted about requesting a block. i could only do it four days before as thats when they give out the rooms so i had to ring back. i would reccomend staying to the right its closer to the reception. i stayed in block 58 again only four rooms per floor. really quiet but close to the reception and bus

I haven't actually stayed in that block - somebody scanned this particular map in for me, when I wanted to know the layout of the hotel. We stayed in block 10, and the walk to the main building certainly wasn't too far from there.
