Santa Clause III

on the subject of SC3: we saw this during our Halloween cruise and both adults agreed they should have stopped at 2!!! It was cute, sure. I kept forcing myself to stay awake - 'cause I knew I didn't want to pay to see it again!!!!! :wizard:

does it indicate disaster for Disney??..nah, just the usual complaint that they keep doing ridiculous sequels ...

I have said it before and I will say it again

Tim Allen would not have a career if it wasn't for disney

Jungle 2 Jungle
Home Improvement
Toy story 1 &2
Santa Clause 123
Etc

Come on Tim branch out a little bit

Just took my DD4 and my DW to the show as a family to see SCIII and it was the first movie I have taken my DD to and she DIDNT want to leave because she was bored. She actually set there the enite time and loved the movie.

Personally I liked the movie. It was nice and funny and good for a family to see together.

So whether it is a success or not at the box office, it allowed this father and mother to take a 4 yr old to the theater and when we walked out she was smiling. It was worth my $$$!

Except that Disney could have done exactly the same thing - but let your daughter see a movie so wonderful that she will remember it for entire life and dream of the day when she can take her own daughter to see it.

Instead you found a pleasant enough time to spend a couple hours.

If Disney was only half as interested in your daughter's imgination as they are in your $$$ this would be a much better place.

that is a good point!!! :thumbsup2

my first movie with my mom was "Bambi"...now that's a memory - and, as you stated,...a "can't wait to share with my DD moment!!!!!

We loved Santa Claus 1 & 2. Traditionally, we always see a movie (preferably a Christmas movie) on the evening of their last day of school before Thanksgiving (next Monday). So, we will be seeing it. I loved the other 2 movies and am looking forward to this movie.

I just assumed more people see Christmasy movies the closer to Christmas it gets. Time will tell.

I don't know how much of Borat beating SCIII is due to Disney's name being on SCIII than this country turning into a bunch of "slow" people who prefer to see idiots run around on screen making complete fools of themselves and us, the idiot consumer, falling for these badly made movies full of no talent bozos... Sorry, Sasha Cohen is not funny, Ali G is annoying, Bruce is offensive, and Borat is plain old slepping with a helmet on retarded. But, that goes to show you the dumbing down of American society.

we went to see SC3, snooze is all I can say. I didn't even find any part of it funny.
My son seemed to like it fine, but I never once saw him giggle.
There are just so few G rated movies out there we have to jump at a chance to see one when it comes out, whether it's good or bed.
